Just about everything requires a legal notice these days, so please bear with me. My core philosophy is stated well by the Golden Rule: Do to others as you would have them do to you. I value your privacy as I value my own.

Privacy

I honor your privacy.  Privacy is a big deal to me and I will treat your private information as I want mine to be treated by others.

We do not collect information from you unless you order a product, in which case we need your name, address, e-mail address and telephone number to ensure that you receive the products you desire.  Personal information related to orders is retained with records applying to those orders.  It is not accessible except by authorized personnel.

We do not accept credit cards or have access to your credit card numbers or other confidential information. When you order through PayPal, their privacy policy applies.

We do not use cookies. All visits to our site are anonymous unless you choose to purchase something or to contact Susan. We welcome your comments, especially regarding what you found on the site that was useful or solved a problem for you.

We will NOT share your e-mail address or personal information with ANYONE. To be precise:  We will not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personal information. The exception is trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may release your information when we believe release is necessary to comply with the law or to protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety.

We may send very few e-mails (fewer than one per year) to persons for whom we have e-mail addresses in order to notify them of something important—for example, that our web site has been significantly updated.

Occasionally, at our discretion, we may recommend or offer third party products or services on our website. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, as we seek to protect our customers and the integrity of our site, we welcome your feedback if there is a problem with linked sites.

You use the site entirely at your own risk. As far as we know, nothing dangerous has been included and there should be very little risk. You agree to hold us harmless from any damages you may suffer from using anything on the site or in the books.

The site and anything you purchase are solely for your personal use. Teachers and homeschoolers are welcome to reproduce pages marked "reproducible" for use with their own children / students.

You may not use the Site or the materials available on the Site in a manner that constitutes an infringement of our rights or that has not been authorized by us or by the copyright owner referenced. Please contact Susan for permission to utilize materials in any way not specifically stated herein, for example, to include a copy of a non-reproducible chart in a notebook you compile for your students.

Our Right to Use Your Comments. If you write something about or to us, we have the right to post it on the site without compensation to you.

Limitations on Linking and Framing. You are free to establish a hypertext link to SusanCAnthony.com so long as the link does not state or imply our sponsorship of your website or service.  However, you may not, without prior written permission, frame or inline link any of the content of our Site, or incorporate into another website or other service any of our material, content or intellectual property.
